- Contact details you provide via the website contact form or by phone/email (name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message)
- Appointment and booking information
- Health information you share as part of your care, including case history, examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment notes. This is "special category data" under UK GDPR and is only collected with your explicit consent as part of providing chiropractic care

How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to enquiries and arrange appointments
- Provide safe, appropriate chiropractic care and keep accurate clinical records
- Meet our legal and professional obligations, including those set by the General Chiropractic Council
- Communicate with you about your care, such as appointment reminders
Our legal basis for processing
We rely on: your consent (for enquiries and for sharing health information as part of your care); the performance of a contract (when you book an appointment); and legal obligation (where record-keeping is required by our regulator or insurer).
How we store and protect your information
[To be confirmed once clinic systems are finalised — e.g. clinical records held in a secure practice management system / locked physical storage.] We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share relevant information with your GP or another healthcare professional if we make a referral, and only with your knowledge as part of your care. We may also disclose information where required by law or by our regulator.
How long we keep your information
Clinical records are retained in line with professional guidance for chiropractors [confirm exact period with your indemnity insurer — commonly around 8 years for adult patients, longer for records relating to under-18s]. Enquiry and contact form messages that do not lead to ongoing care are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.
